  6. VersionWB is a replacement for the usual AmigaDos Version 
  7. command, which now uses XfdMaster.library if available.
  8.  
  9. If you want the version information to be presented in a re-
  10. quester, this program is for you. Instead of like c:version just 
  11. tell the version and revision number by default, VersionWB 
  12. always tells you all it could find.
  13.  
  14. VersionWB have these features:
  15. * It will bring up a requester with the version information.
  16. * It support several files in the command line parameter 
  17. template.
  18. * You can shift-doubleclick an icon with VersionWB and
  19. then get all that version stuff.
  20. * You may also pick the file you want to know the version 
  21. number of by using a file requester.
  22. * It will find version strings in WB1.3 libraries and devices,
  23. c:version does not, e.g. narrator.device.
  24. * If you use it with ToolManager you can have an appicon in
  25. your Workbench. Drop the icon on the appicon, and the
  26. version information will be presented (if the file contains a
  27. version string).
  28. * It also has an optional text output.
  29. * It recognizes any packed file (uses xfdmaster.library).
  30. * All other features of AmigaDos Version, as far as I know 8-).
  31. * Can be opened on a publicscreen
  32. * Can set the filenote of files to there versioninfo.
  33. * Can set the filedate to the one found in the version string
  34. * Finds even files in your shell-path
